The planning commission membership is an elected 3-year paid position.
It meets every 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Before a street, park, open space, public building or other structure can be authorized or constructed in an area covered by the township's master plan, the location, character and extent of the project or utility must be submitted to the planning commission by the township board or other body having jurisdiction for the planning commission's review and approval.

You may use the United States Post Office to mail any documents to our office.
We have a mail slot to the left of our front door for dropping off your documents. It is securely locked on the inside of the building.
The drop box is a new addition to our office. It is located at the back of the parking lot near the basketball hoop. You can drive up to the drop box without leaving your car.
Bay County is in the process of updating the 2010 Hazard Mitigation Plan, as required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to qualify for pre-disaster funding. As part of this process, the Bay County Advisory Committee (Committee) would like your feedback and is seeking your assistance to identify the concerns of Bay County residents as they relate to natural and man-made hazards.
