We are currently staffed with 16 firefighters and the majority our staff is trained as Medical First Responders with several having additional certification as EMT or Paramedic. We are fully modernized with 4 vehicles and 2 sets of Jaws of Life.

Services we provide are: fire suppression, fire prevention, emergency medical services (First Responders), and hazardous material response (Operations). Our Community has a population of approximately 3562 people and is 24 square miles.

We now have a new program for burn permits. When calling the office or leaving a message for a burn permit, include your name, address of burn, phone number, email address, burn dates (good for 3 days), You can view a sample burn permit below.

The Frankenlust Fire Department has partnered with the American Red Cross for the Home Fire Campaign. This is a great program to help improve the fire safety of our community without any addition expense to the Township.

The Fire Department received smoke alarms from the American Red Cross and they are available to be provided to and installed in Township residences that are in need of smoke alarms when they do not have any currently or have alarms over 10 years old
